Tandoori Sea Bass for 2

Cooking instructions for our pre-prepared dish.

 

TANDOORI SPICED SEA BASS FILLETS, CURRY OIL, BUTTERED VEGETABLE BASMATI RICE                                         

INGREDIENTS:

Sea bass (FISH), rice, butter (DAIRY), yoghurt (DAIRY), peas, sweetcorn, chilli, ginger, garlic, turmeric, garam masala, lemon, cumin, coriander, olive oil.

METHOD:

Pre heat oven to 240 degrees centigrade

Season bass fillets with salt, fry fillets skin side only in a medium hot pan with a little vegetable oil for 1 minute.

Remove from pan, place onto a baking sheet and coat skin side of fish with the tandoori paste.

Place 2 fillets together skin side out.

Put fish into oven for 8-10 minutes. Remove fish, to check fish is cooked, pierce thickest part of the fish all the way through with a small knife. If there is no resistance; it Is done. Turn off oven.

Place cooked fish onto a serving plate, drizzle with the curry oil and place back into the turned off oven for 1 minute to heat the oil through. (PLEASE CHECK YOUR PLATES ARE OVENPROOF DO NOT USE CHINA CROCKERY). Be careful as the plate will be hot.

Open one corner of the rice lid, place in microwave for 2-3 minutes mixing half-way through.

ENSURE FOOD IS PIPING HOT BEFORE SERVING
