Tandoori Sea Bass for 2

Cooking instructions for our pre-prepared dish.

 

Pre-heat oven to 240 °. Season the bass fillets with salt. Fry the fillets skin side down only in a pan, over a medium heat, with a little vegetable oil for 1 minute. 

Remove from pan, place onto a baking sheet and coat skin side of fish with the tandoori paste. 

Place two fillets together, skin side out. 

Put the fish into the oven for 8-10 minutes. Remove fish. To check the fish is cooked, piece the thickest part of the fish all the way through with a small knife. If there is no resistance, it is cooked through. Turn the oven off (important for the next part).

Place the cooked fish onto a serving plate, drizzle with the curry oil and place back into the now turned off over for 1 minute to heat the oil through. Be careful as the plate will now be hot.

Open one corner of the rice lid, place in the microwave for 2-3 minutes, mixing half-way through. 

Ensure food is piping hot before serving.
