Spooky Sushi

Salmon Temari Sushi

Serves 2

A super easy way to get in the Halloween Spirit. Using smoked salmon make termari sushi in the shape of some spooky pumpkins.  

Ingredients:

  • 100g Smoked salmon
  • 250g cooked Japanese rice
  • 1 tbsp sushi vinegar
  • nori seaweed sheets

Method:

  1. Prepare the sushi rice then add the sushi vinegar to the rice.
  2. To make the Pumpkins, place a few bits of smoked salmon in the center of a piece of clingfilm then top with a tablespoon of the rice. Shape the rice into a ball by pulling the film tight and twisting it. 
  3. Decorate your sushi using the nori seaweed sheets cut into shapes. You can make your Pumpkins face or use the nori seaweed sheets to create any other spooky Halloween shapes you like. 
  4. Serve and Enjoy.
