A Christmas Classic With A Seafood Twist

At Christmas Many Love Having Pigs In Blankets But This Year Why Not Try Something A Little Bit Different? Why Not Try Our Version Of The Christmas Favourite With A Seafood Twist. Simple, Quick And Easy To Make, Try Our "Prawns In Blankets" This Festive Season.

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices prosciutto or streaky bacon rashers sliced lengthways into thin ribbons
  • 8 large raw prawns
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Paprika to dust (optional)

Method:

  1. Wrap the prosciutto or bacon around the prawns and secure with a cocktail stick.
  2. Over a medium heat, heat the oil in a frying pan.
  3. Add the prawns and cook until the prosciutto or bacon is crisp and the prawns are pink and opaque (about a minute for prosciutto, longer for bacon).
  4. Dip the end of each prawn in a little paprika (if using) and remove the cocktail sticks.
  5. Serve and enjoy.
