Easy Homemade Fish Fingers

 Make Together with your Kids

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 85g panko breadcrumbs
  • zest and juice 1 lemon
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 400g white fish (cod, haddock, hake), sliced into 12 strips

Method:

  1. Pre-Heat oven to 200C.
  2. Tip the breadcrumbs onto a plate. Mix the lemon zest into the breadcrumbs along with the oregano and some salt and pepper.
  3. Brush a non-stick baking sheet with half the oil. Dip the fish strips into some flour, the egg, then roll them in the breadcrumbs.
  4. Transfer to a baking sheet and bake for 20 mins until golden.
  5. Serve and enjoy!
