Cursed Calamari Spaghetti
A Halloween Pasta Dish to Die For
Serves 4
Terrifyingly tasty this squid ink spaghetti is perfect for Halloween.
Ingredients:
- 500g Squid Ink pasta
- 750g squid, cleaned, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- A few sprigs of fresh parsley, finely minced
- A splash of white wine
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
Method:
- Sauté the chopped garlic and parsley in the olive oil until the garlic is just beginning to turn brown.
- Add the cut-up squid and let it sweat in the oil, uncovered, for a few minutes. Add the white wine and cover for about 15 minutes or until the squid is tender.
- Boil the squid ink spaghetti in well-salted water until al dente.
- Add the cooked pasta to the pan with the squid and mix well.
- Serve and enjoy.
