Blackened Cajun Cod

Cooking instructions for our preprepared meal.

 

METHOD

Pre-heat grill.

Place the cod fillets on a greased baking sheet & put under a hot grill on the
second shelf down. Depending on how thick the fish is cooking should take
between 7 to 10 minutes. The slower cooking will allow the fish to char
slightly whilst remaining moist.

Empty the ginger cream into a small saucepan and bring to a gentle simmer to warm through.

Peel back film on rice and microwave for 2 to 3 minutes alternatively it can be stir fried in a wok or large pan.

Check the fish is done by placing a skewer or small knife through the thickest part of the flesh if there is no resistence its done.


Arrange the charred broccoli at the side of 2 warmed serving plates, top
with cod, ginger cream & finally the rice on the side.

ENSURE FOOD IS PIPING HOT THROUGHOUT
