
Bass fillets with chilli & black bean sauce.
Cooking instructions for our pre-prepared dish.
Method:
Cook shrimp crackers in a deep fat fryer at 180oc for 5 to 10 seconds until they puff up, drain on kitchen paper and set aside.
If you dont have a deep fat fryer you can use a wide high sided pan with 2 to 3 inches of vegetable oil.
Remove bass from vac pac bag and place on a baking sheet, do not separate the fillets this will keep the fish moist during cooking. Season with salt and place in a preheated oven at 180oc for 5 to 7 minutes.
Place the black bean gravy and vegetables in a small saucepan over a low heat do not boil just gently heat through.
Loosen lid on rice and place in microwave on full power for 2 to 3 minutes.
Remove bass from the oven, spoon vegetable and sauce mix equally onto two warm serving bowls, top with the seabas and serve with rice and crackers.
