Haddock(FISH), potatoes, salt, baking powder, plain flour(WHEAT GLUTEN), non alcoholic beer(SULPHITES), marrow fat peas, malt vinegar, black pepper. Butter(MILK)
Preheat a deep fat fryer to 130oc. Remove the chips from packaging & place into the oil & cook for 6 to 8 minutes until tender. Drain the chips & lay on a baking sheet to cool. Turn the fryer up to 175oc. Pour the pack of flour into a bowl & add 105ml of the beer & mix well. Coat the fish fillets in plain flour, shake off the excess & lay in the batter mix. Very carefully place the fish into the hot oil moving the fillet back & forth gently for 10 seconds or so to avoid any sticking to the basket. Cook for around 4 minuntes turuning once using tongs. Remove the fish & drain on a wire rack. Return the chips to the fryer for 3 minutes or so until golden & crisp. Heat the peas in a small pan or microwave for 1 minute adding a touch of water if necessary. Lay the fish & chips onto 2 warmed serving plates & enjoy with your usual accompainiments.
Keep refrigerated and use within 2 days.
