Wine Deliveries

We have been the fishmonger of choice for our local community for two decades, and we are happy to bring our produce to a wider audience.

All our wine is packaged in “Wool Cool” insulated packaging, with biodegradable gel packs. These keep the wine cool for up to 36 hours.

This can be delivered direct to your door or to your nominated safe place if you are not available.

Pairing Wine and Fish

There is a lot that goes into choosing the right wine for the right fish.

The wine has to enhance the flavour of the fish, without overpowering it. However, the wine cannot be too subtle or it won’t stand up to the dish.

Generally, rose goes well with shellfish like scallops and prawns. The natural sweetness of the shellfish works well with the subtle sweetness of the wine.

Full bodied red wine pairs well with salmon, while white wine goes well with delicate white fish.

Of course, these are broad strokes. Check each individual wine to see which types of fish will work well with it.
